Field Sales Representative (Solar Division)

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new prospects, closing net-new business, managing customer accounts & relationships, and presenting our comprehensive range of solar products and solutions. You will be expected to develop and execute strategic sales plans, effectively communicate the benefits of our offerings, and negotiate margin to drive revenue growth.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effective pipeline management: prospect and close new customer accounts while managing & growing active customer accounts.
  • Handle lead qualification, customer inquiries, and customer product quotes.
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork & customer service with the Customer Experience team.
  • Work with Operations & Logistics departments to ensure smooth & timely material deliveries.
  • Plan, strategize, and develop key relationships with both customers & vendor partners.
  • Generate Bill of Materials for clients while upselling additional products.
  • Maintain sales activity & prospect reports in CRM system.
  • Implement creative sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Sales & Marketing Programs.
  • Travel to prospect & customer office locations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales within solar industry (manufacturing or distribution).
  • CRM Knowledge.
  • Requires travel at least 30%.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
