Green Finance
Amara NZero is aware of its investors' interest in ensuring a socially responsible investment. Therefore, it incorporates access to sustainable financing instruments, such as Green Bonds, into its strategy.
To this end, it has a green financing framework aligned with the Green Bond Principles (GBP) issued by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), which provides investors with sufficient guarantees of transparency and internal control to ensure that the financing obtained is allocated to activities with a positive environmental impact and contributes to the transition towards a low-carbon economy.
This green financing framework has been positively verified by the independent entity Sustainalytics, based on Amara NZero’s compliance with the four core components of the GBP: the nature of the sustainable activities, the existence of project selection and evaluation criteria, internal control bodies, and transparent, up-to-date information on the sustainable use of the financing.
Through its internal governance bodies, Amara NZero assures investors of compliance with the financing framework requirements, green finance market principles, and the contribution of the funds raised to sustainable objectives.
